Holt may well be called "a small market town" but it is
a giant in the quality and quantity of its fine shops and galleries
and its fine Georgian architecture.
To be able to wander the back alleys, nooks and crannies that make
up the town centre is, in itself, a pleasure and it is this unique
character that brings visitors from miles around.
For the casual visitor, or the person in search of a unique item
to enhance their home or business, Holt can offer an incredible choice.
Each season provides an opportunity to enjoy the changes that give
so much pleasure to all, from the Holt Summer Festival showcasting
an eclectic performance of national and international music, arts
and other events to the magical display
of Christmas lights that have become so well known as "The Holt
Christmas Festival".
Countless people contribute in so many ways to ensure that Holt is
a vibrant and successful town that we see today.
Thanks must go to all who play their part in ensuring that our town
is so well known and appreciated far and wide. Success does not come
overnight, nor should it be taken for granted, but with the continuing
community spirit, Holt can and will be the place to visit now and
for many years to come.
