Downloadable Minutes (pdfs)

We meet on the second Monday of every month. We have an additional Budget meeting in October.

Our meetings start at 7pm. They are held in the Holt Community Centre (see map, Contact us). For details of our meeting dates visit this page.

The Public are welcome to our meetings and there is 15 minutes allocated to public questions.

Our Council Agendas have the same format which is fairly standard to all local councils. A welcome by the Mayor, receiving apologies from members, considering requests for dispensations, approval of minutes from the last meeting, considering items of correspondence, approving payments and other financial items, consideration of planning applications. Sometimes we have visiting speakers. The Police often send a member of the Safer Neighbourhood Team to give us a report too.

Our agendas are posted on our website and also put in the Library. Our minutes are available at our website (see below) and in the Library.

Our meetings and our Council is governed by Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and we have other Policies which we have adopted to help us with the governance of our Council and to comply with the law. For more information visit our Policies page.
